Rain, Rain 🌧️ and More Rain

Like many farmers we need more rain! We didn't get anywhere near enough rain this summer. This resulted in a poor hay crop since the hay or grasses need rain to grow. We seem to either get a massive amount in a short amount of time resulting in it not being absorbed e the ground needing it or a brief gentle rain. As frustrating as that is the reality is that's farming!

Feeding the animals means going through mud puddles to get the animals cared for. Lucky for me a quick meeting with the hose can clean off my boots until the next time!
