The Do or Don't Time

While I was running the Little Shepherd to Preschool Bill discovered twins. The ram lamb was fine but the ewe lamb wasn't doing as well. Apparently, the new mama had decided that she wasn't accepting her ewe lamb. So what to do???

Well, we believe in second chances to a degree which is why a ewe from last year is still on the farm. So since we don't have a video to see what happened during and after the birth we have been trying several things to get the ewe to realize it is her little darling. We are trying to get the little gal started off. So her mama is tied up to feed her. But we are already giving her additional milk through a bottle.

We have tried a few other possible things to change a stubborn mama's mind with no success.

Bottom line, we are doing all that we an to make it work but it looks like we are going to have another bottle baby.

Oh, the names are Deputy Peck and Sheriff Callie.
