It's Officially Muduary

Forget January and February in the calendar. We should just call these two months Muduary. We have been living with mud more than anything. Yes, it is February 2nd and Phil saw his shadow. Even though we are about 2 hours from Punxsutawney I am not a fan of his predictions. Heck even the meteorologists are not right most of the time so why have faith in Phil?

So he predicts six more weeks of winter if one puts a lot of faith in a farm pest. I don't like groundhogs in my yard, garden or on the farm. They are even more annoying to farmers than non-farmers. Some folks even think farmers will take the groundhog and turn it free to live on the farm. That is not the case in many places.

Now I am off to deal with mud and more mud in merry month of Muduary.
